Hillary Clinton Ready to Lead- On OUR Side

Ready to Lead - ON OUR SIDE!!

Let's face it- the leading Democratic candidates for President: NY Senator Hillary Clinton and Illinois Senator Barack Obama are both outstanding leaders. Either one of them will make a far superior president than any of their Republican opponents.

But we have endorsed Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton because we believe she is the best prepared of all the candidates to lead America in a new direction. We've worked with her; we know her record; we know that she will fight for us.

  • In 2000, Hilary walked the picket lines at Verizon in Albany.
  • In 2007, Hillary personally called Ivan Seidenberg and told him Verizon should recognize the union for the technicians at Verizon Business and that she intended to sign legislation to strenghten workers' right to organize.
  • From 2001 on, Hillary fought tirelessly for adequate funding to screen and treat workers injured at Ground Zero.
  • Hillary is a sponsor of the Employee Free Choice Act and will sign it into law when she's elected President.
  • Hillary has a plan to ensure that every American has affordable, high-quality health care.
  • Hillary has experience, the toughness and the ideas to fight for real change in America.

In 2008 our most important goal is to elect a President who can take America in a new direction. We believe Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is the candidate with the best qualifications to do that.

That's why we urge you to vote for Hillary Clinton in the Democratic Primary on Tuesday, February 5th.
